Travel between Vaasa and Umeå during the docking of Aurora Botnia
Aurora Botnia is removed from traffic betweeen 24.12.2025-10.1.2026. During the mandatory 5-year maintenance docking the ship is inspected, serviced, repainted and renovated on a dry dock to guarantee safe and reliable operations in the future.
Because the docking coincides with Christmas holiday traffic, Wasaline has teamed up with Oravais Trafik to provide supplementary bus departures. Oravais Trafik will drive two return trips between Vaasa and Umeå to take students and commuters back home after the holidays.
